Capitalist to miss Group 1 Darley Classic
Golden Slipper winner Capitalist will not race in the Group One Darley Classic.
Capitalist was scratched from the Group One Coolmore Stud Stakes on Saturday after suffering a stone bruise, eight days after the colt was withdrawn from the Manikato Stakes due to a wet track.
The valuable colt has raced twice since his Golden Slipper win, finishing unplaced in the San Domenico Stakes before taking the minor placing in the Roman Consul Stakes.
