Brave Smash wins Futurity at Caulfield
Trainer Darren Weir has scored the quinella at Caulfield, with favourite Brave Smash beating Tosen Stardom by half a length in the Group One Futurity Stakes.
The stallion pushed through between the leaders on Saturday to give Weir back-to-back Futurity wins following Black Heart Bart’s effort in 2017.
Showtime was a head back in third followed by another Weir runner Humidor in the 1400m race.
