Brandon Stockdale suspended by RAD Board
Victorian apprentice Brandon Stockdale has been fined and suspended for using his mobile phone at a Caulfield race meeting.
Stockdale fronted the Racing Appeals and Disciplinary Board on Tuesday, pleading guilty to the charges following a stewards inquiry at the Caulfield twilight meeting on January 17.
He was fined $300 for having a mobile phone in the jockey’s room after his arrival on course for the meeting.
It was also established at the inquiry he had used the phone on two occasions.
Stockdale was further suspended for two weeks for giving false and misleading evidence to Racing Victoria stewards at that inquiry.
