Bookies report big push for Sydney FC in FFA Cup betting
ONLINE bookmaker Sportsbet.com.au has reported a massive plunge on Sydney FC to win the 2017 FFA Cup.
Having won the A-League double last season, the Sky Blues will look to complete a rare treble of sorts when they tackle Adelaide United in Tuesday night’s final.
Soccer punters have splashed four times more cash on Graham Arnold’s men than they have on the Reds, with a 3-1 win to Sydney ($13) the best-backed result in the correct score market.
“Ever since we opened Sydney FC as $3.00 favourites for the FFA Cup, punters have been backing them over every other side,” said Sportsbet’s Christian Jantzen.
“An FFA Cup to sit alongside their Premiership and Championship trophies looks inevitable.”
