AFL Twitter erupts as Mundy sinks Tigers after the siren
WE thought upset season was over? The three Ds did the damage this weekend.
The Dons, Dees and Dockers all recorded incredible victories and threw not only everyone’s tips into disarray, but left sports betting companies scratching their heads as to who the best teams in the competition really are.
This season of @AFL is BLOODY RIDICULOUS with its upset wins. I don’t know who to tip anywhere #AFLTigersFreo #AFLDonsCats #AFLCrowsDees

Suddenly the top-four-bound Crows and Tigers are shaky, while the Bombers and Dockers delivered wins that make fans wonder if September is not beyond them.
We took to Twitter to articulate our thoughts much more succinctly and concisely than we ever could, and the world of social media certainly did not disappoint this weekend.
Avert your eyes if you are a Tiger supporter.
David Mundy breaks Tiger hearts once again
Richmond slump to three straight losses after a last-gasp David Mundy goal sinks the Tigers after victory looked all but assured.
I guess Richmond Tigers fans may be suffering from some Mundy-itis for the next day or so…#JoshJoke #Puntastic #AFLTigersFreo

Wait, we have heard this one before haven’t we?

As heartbreaking as it is for Tiger fans to endure potentially another wasted season after such a brilliant start, the impartial fan could not help dig the boots in to the long-suffering supporters who sometimes tend to get ahead of themselves.
This could end up in our AFL hall of fame for tweets for the sheer cruelty of it, but the humour to non-Tiger fans cannot be denied.
Just walked by a group of people in Richmond gear and asked “how’d they go?” despite knowing the score.
I’m a bad person. #AFLTigersFreo

Speaking of last minute wins…
If you think Collingwood is not counting down the days until Steve Johnson retires than you must be new to football.
After an ill-fated medical test which could have seen Johnson don the Pies’ black and white, the former Cat has made a habit of tormenting Collingwood, which he did again on Saturday night.

Collingwood fans have every reason to feel aggrieved, and it is not just because an old sparring partner popped up to sink them once again.
Several key moments went against the Pies at pivotal moments, and one supporter spotted these out.
Nothing to see here especially if you’re an AFL umpire #GoPies #aflgiantspies pic.twitter.com/foXFgYmBIb

And then again.

If there was anyone that summed up the feelings of Collingwood fans better than Nathan Buckley however, we’d like to see it.

Impartial fans watching were treated to a captivating game that showed Collingwood have plenty to offer in 2017, and one Crows fan expressed that opinion in the aftermath.
#AFL I really enjoyed #AFLGiantspies. Was a good game to watch and there is plenty there for Collingwood to be proud of
