Adelaide 36ers vs Sydney Kings NBL betting preview
Continuing the mini-series that began in round three of the 2020/21 NBL season, the Adelaide 36ers and Sydney Kings will battle once again at the Adelaide Entertainment Centre this Saturday.
In their last contest, the 36ers took the lead at the start of the second quarter and ran away with it from then onwards to win by five points.

As we identified in our last preview, the 36ers dominated with their two talented centres, who led points in the paint 50-34, which was certainly the game’s defining factor.
The Kings led most statistical categories in that loss, but their subpar interior defence lost them the game.
Can the Kings get their revenge against the improving 36ers, or will Adelaide make it two straight wins over the 2019/20 NBL finalists?

To score 20+ points – Isaac Humphries
Isaac Humphries is finally displaying the potential that saw him sign a contract with the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA. Averaging 23 points across his last four games, including 27 against the Kings, Humphries is leading the 36ers up the NBL ladder. He recently earned a spot in the 24-man Australian Boomers squad for the upcoming Tokyo Olympics.
Under 174.5 total points
Although scoring in the NBL appears to be improving with each passing round, these teams proved in their last contest that defence comes first. Thus, we can expect another tight affair when the 36ers and the Kings renew hostilities this weekend. Sydney won’t allow 50 points in the paint again, while Adelaide will look to dry up the Kings’ three-pointers.
Adelaide 36ers -4.5
Not only do we think the 36ers will win this matchup again, we suspect they will cover the line. Josh Giddey is gradually earning his stripes for Adelaide and still has plenty of room for improvement, as does Daniel Johnson, who did not abuse his offensive mismatches as often as he should have last time out.
