Newcastle Jets vs Central Coast Mariners

Winless in their past five, the Jets have struggled in 2024, sliding down the table to 11th spot. Western Sydney Wanderers vs Sydney FC

It’s a Sydney derby on Saturday night as the fifth-placed Wanderers host the sixth-placed Sydney FC. With just one loss from their past 10, Sydney FC enter this match as the form side, but history states that anything can happen in this fixture. The Wanderers have scored nine goals in their past five games, while Sydney FC have scored in each of their past 13 matches, suggesting that the over is a smart bet.

Wellington Phoenix vs Adelaide United

Sunday, March 3 – 5pm NZDT – Sky Stadium

Sitting three points clear on top of the A-League table, the Wellington Phoenix are undefeated in 2024. With the Mariners right behind, the pressure is on to keep performing as they welcome the struggling Adelaide United. With just one win from their past nine, United’s finals hopes are shot and they look set for another tough trip this weekend.

Brisbane Roar vs Melbourne Victory

Sunday, March 3 – 4pm AEST – Suncorp Stadium

After starting the season undefeated for the first 15 rounds, Melbourne Victory suffered their second defeat in four weeks last Sunday and have now dropped to third place. After scoring just two goals in their past four matches, Victory should be relishing the opportunity to face the worst defence in the A-League. While the Roar are at home, with just one win from their past seven, they look set to struggle again.
