Two of the A-League’s glamour clubs meet under the Etihad Stadium roof as the Wanderers of West travel to Melbourne to face the Victory.

The Victory were unlucky losers last week. A clear handball against David Carney was given against the former Socceroo, who went on to score the game winner for Sydney FC.

The Wanderers may have salvaged three points from their last three outings but Tony Popovic would not be happy that his men have given up winning leads in two of those games against opposition they should be beating.

Victory have dropped points just twice in the last five meetings between the two sides and have only lost once in that time, and we are favouring Kevin Muscat’s men to get the win at home.

Final game of the weekend the undefeated Sydney FC hosting the Perth Glory in the NSW capital.

The Sky Blues have recorded five wins from their opening five games this season and still alone atop the A-League ladder. Whilst they are the $4 favourites for the title at Sportsbet.com.au there is not league-wide confidence in the undefeated Sydney FC.
