Round 15: New Zealand Warriors vs Melbourne Storm preview
The league-leading Melbourne Storm will travel across the ditch to take on a resurgent New Zealand Warriors side this Saturday in round 15 of the NRL Premiership.
The return of Addin Fonua-Blake to the Wahs’ forward pack last week made a big difference as they beat the Cowboys 42-12 in Townsville. That was their third win in a row, putting them within striking distance of the top eight on the NRL ladder.
Similarly, the return of State of Origin stars Xavier Coates and Harry Grant put the Storm back in the winners’ circle. With their 36-28 triumph over the Knights, Melbourne remain top of the table heading into round 15.
Storm coach Craig Bellamy has been forced to replace the concussed Reimis Smith with Dean Ieremia in an otherwise unchanged line-up.
Following last week’s win, Warriors coach Andrew Webster has named Shaun Johnson to return from a pectoral injury, shifting Te Maire Martin to five-eighth, Chanel Harris-Tevita to the bench, and Freddy Lussick to the reserves. Roger Tuivasa-Sheck (hamstring) has been named in the reserves and could be a late addition to the starting side.

Warriors vs Storm Rd 15 betting predictions
The top NRL bookmakers opened with the Storm as favourites, but the inclusion of Johnson and Tuivasa-Sheck for the Warriors has swung the odds back their way.
The Storm’s dominance over the Warriors has been incredible, winning each of their last 15 matches. Also, NZ have failed to cover the points line in each of their last four clashes with teams leading the NRL. At $2 with Neds, there is phenomenal value on offer for the Storm to cover the -1.5 handicap.
Seven of the last eight clashes between these two clubs have gone over the total points line. In four of their last five matches against the Warriors, the Storm have scored 30 or more points on their own. Expect more than 45.5 total points to be scored here (-111.11).
Storm halfback Jahrome Hughes has scored a try in each of his last three away matches against the Warriors. As the leading playmaker in this side while Cam Munster is out injured, expect him to score a third try in three weeks (+270).
