The NRL multi bet of the week with Sportsbet specials for round 7

THE NRL is a great money-making sport for punters and it’s made even more profitable with Sportsbet’s multi-bet promotion.

Sportsbet.com.au is offering a deal where you can take a 5-leg multi and if it loses by one leg, you get your money back (up to $50).

There is nothing more annoying than losing a big multi by one leg and thanks to Sportsbet, we no longer have to worry about that fate.

We have looked over round 7 of the NRL this week and found five of the best bets on offer this weekend.

Sign up to Sportsbet and take advantage of the multi-bet deal.

Cowboys ($1.30) vs. Rabbitohs ($3.60)

Multi tip: Cowboys to win at $1.30

The North Queensland Cowboys won their last two games in good style and come up against a Rabbitohs side which is struggling to find consistent form.

The Rabbitohs started the season with back-to-back wins and many punters thought they may even be a finals contender, but the wheels have fallen off and they are now under the pump. Greg Inglis isn’t playing well enough to carry his team over the line and playing at 1300Smiles Stadium is no a easy task in their pursuit to find form.

It’s tough to see the Cowboys losing at home and the $1.30 is short, but looks an easy anchor to kick off the multi-bet.

Titans ($1.65) vs. Dragons ($2.30)

Multi tip: Titans to win at $1.65

What more is there to say about the Dragons this season?

They were absolutely dreadful against the Broncos last Thursday night and we can’t see it getting any better in the near future.

The Dragons lost 26-0 and looked inept in many areas, including the kicking game of Gareth Widdop, which was simply not good enough at this professional standard. They play a Titans team which was gallant in defeat at the hands of the Sharks and on paper look the better team.

David Mead, Josh Hoffman, Nene Macdonald and William Zillman can all fly and they only need half a chance to break through the line. Macdonald easily ran down noted speedster Ben Barba last week and if the Dragons can’t find improvement from the week before, it should be a soft kill for the Titans.

$1.65 is a good price and it should firm throughout the week.

Bulldogs ($1.91) vs. Warriors ($1.91)

Multi tip: Warriors to win at $1.91

It’s interesting to note that bookmakers have both the Bulldogs and Warriors on the same line.

The Bulldogs have clearly had the better season to date and the Warriors looked at their woeful worst against Manly last Saturday.

Don’t be fooled by the Bulldogs home ground advantage as this game is being played in Wellington, New Zealand as a Bulldogs’ home game. The things some clubs will do for money.

The Warriors have a team that could compete at the highest level in the NRL and we’re putting it down to lack of effort and fitness. The Auckland-based franchise switch off for long periods during the game and that has its fans pulling their hair out.

Punting on the Warriors is tough, but the $1.91 in a good situation is too good to pass up.

Tigers ($2.30) vs. Storm ($1.65)

Multi tip: Storm to win at $1.65

The Tigers are another team which looks good on paper, but rarely show their best form on the field. The men from the West should didn’t have enough fire power to beat the lowly Newcastle Knights last week and it won’t get any easier against the Storm this Sunday.

The Storm is coming off a Monday night loss to the Bulldogs which is concerning, but Melbourne rarely lose two games straight and coach Craig Bellamy will have ironed out the mistakes.

Many punters have been turned off the Storm since losing fullback Billy Slater, but they remain title contenders and notching a win against the Tigers will take them a long way in the season.

$1.65 looks about where we had the Storm framed and it’s going in as the four leg of our multi-bet.

Roosters ($2.20) vs. Panthers ($1.70)

Multi tip: Panthers to win at $1.70

The Roosters scored an overdue win on Friday night, but we don’t believe their win streak will continue.

The Roosters took advantage of a struggling Rabbitohs side and they now face a much more well-rounded side in the Panthers, who played well against the Cowboys last week.

The Panthers have a good team this season and even though playing two consecutive road games is tough, the Roosters are not strong enough to take advantage of the situation.

We expect the Panthers to battle well and be too good in the end at $1.70.

Place a $10 multi-bet with Sportsbet for a return of $115.52
