TAB punter turns $500 into nearly $500k on NRL and UFC multis
One TAB punter has pocketed a cool $499,940 after the Melbourne Storm defeated the Gold Coast Titans 38-18 last Sunday afternoon in their NRL Round 18 clash ensuring the last leg of their multis won.
On July 15 the TAB customer in question placed two $250 multis ($500 in total) at the odds of $999.88 on each of them.
In one of the multis, the punter selected the Brisbane Broncos to defeat the Canterbury Bulldogs by five points or more in their NRL Round 18 fixture on July 18.

In the other multi, the Broncos had to defeat the Bulldogs by six points or more, which they easily accomplished in a 28-6 thrashing.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing for this TAB punter with last Friday night’s NRL Round 19 encounter between the New Zealand Warriors and Cronulla Sharks testing the punter’s nerves.
The Sharks led 12-2 after 14 minutes of play before the Warriors levelled the scores at 18-all with just over 10 minutes remaining.
Blake Green’s drop goal in the 75th minute resulted in the Warriors prevailing 19-18, which was welcome news for this TAB punter who selected the New Zealand-based side to win by 1-12 points (in normal time) in their multis.
