The Socceroos head into their clash with Denmark at Al Janoub Stadium on Thursday morning (2am AEDT) with a golden opportunity to secure passage to the 2022 FIFA World Cup knockout stage.
Following a 4-1 loss to France in their tournament opener, it looked as though the Aussies would be homeward bound at the end of the group stage.
