That’s the second time Souths have beaten their arch-rivals this season, so they are hoping to complete an impressive hat-trick at the SCG this Friday night.
The loss at ANZ Stadium ended a seven-game winning streak for the Roosters, who will welcome back a number of their big names for the first week of finals.

Roosters vs Rabbitohs tryscorer betting tips
James Tedesco – Cometh the hour, cometh the man. Tedesco is a big-game player if ever there was one and offers excellent value at $2.40 in the anytime tryscorer betting at Ladbrokes.
Cody Walker – The Rabbitohs’ star five-eighth has rediscovered his tryscoring touch with four in the last seven weeks, so the $5 anytime tryscorer odds at Ladbrokes are well worth a look.
Roosters vs Rabbitohs stats and trends
- The Roosters scored more tries (108) than any other team in the regular season
- Only the Melbourne Storm (300) conceded fewer points than Sydney’s 363
- The Rabbitohs beat the Chooks away in round one and at home in round 25
- Souths have won 10 out of 12 games this year when Alex Johnston has started
Roosters vs Rabbitohs betting predictions
Sydney Roosters by 1-12 points – $2.80 at Sportsbet
The Tricolours got the loss out of their system last week and should be much better with Aubusson, Keary and Morris back on the park. While Souths are coming good at the right time of year, they are missing some key figures and will need some huge performances from their remaining on-field leaders. Expect a ripping contest with the Chooks advancing to the preliminary finals.
