Fremantle -12.5
Under 161.5 total match points
Andrew Brayshaw 30+ touches
Fremantle can notch up consecutive wins when they travel to the MCG to clash with Richmond in AFL round 8 on Sunday.
The Dockers are heavily backed at Australian bookmakers, priced at $1.52 to defeat the undermanned Tigers ($2.55), with the line set at 11.5 for this fixture.
On a run of three straight defeats, the Dockers bounced back with an impressive 24-point win over the Western Bulldogs last Saturday. In a close game, the score stayed within a couple of goals for most of the night, until three late Fremantle goals sealed the match. It was the Dockers midfield who got the job done on the night as Nat Fyfe (37 disposals), Caleb Serong (37) and Andrew Brayshaw (30) all found plenty of the footy.
Now 4-3, Justin Longmuir’s side sit in eighth spot on the ladder and as a result are rightful favourites for this clash at $1.50 with Bet365.
The Tigers continued their poor start to the season last Wednesday as they fell to the Melbourne Demons by 43 points. In the traditional ANZAC Day Eve clash, the Tigers were impressive early as they took the lead into half-time. However, it was all one-way traffic from their as the Demons kicked 10 of the last 12 goals to run out comfortable winners.
With just one win so far this year, the Tigers have been crushed by constant injuries to key players. This week they have lost midfield pair Jacob Hopper and Jack Graham to hamstring injuries but are expected to regain Jayden Short from a calf problem.
The Dockers are set to be boosted by the return of key forward Jye Amiss who missed last week due to concussion.

Tigers v Dockers tips
Despite sitting 4-3, the Dockers have won just one game outside Perth this season – against the last-placed North Melbourne. In a rare MCG appearance, this is a chance for the Dockers to prove they are a serious finals contender in 2024 as they should comfortably handle the Tigers with a handicap of -12.5 at $1.91 with top AFL bookmakers.
As one of the top defences in the AFL coming up against a Richmond forward line that is missing all of their genuine tall forwards, this match is set up for the Dockers to hold the Tigers to a low score. In wins this year, the Dockers have kept their opposition to 63 points per game, while each of the past four matches between the sides has gone under the total points line. So back this match to go under the line of 161.5 total points at $1.90 with Dabble.com.au.
Enjoying a great start to 2024, Fremantle vice-captain Andrew Brayshaw is a key part of the Dockers’ midfield. Fresh off their stellar performance last Saturday, the Dockers are expected to get on top in the middle once again, particularly given the Tigers’ injury woes. As one of the top handballing teams in the AFL, the Dockers love sharing the ball around in the middle, which suggests that Brayshaw collecting 30 or more disposals offers great value at $2.50 with Bet365 (bet365 AU review).
