Premier League Round 21 betting preview, tips and best bets
After only half the matches were played last weekend due to the stacked domestic cup schedule, we are back this weekend with five more matches of English football. Here are our top tips and previews for Matchday 21 of the 2023/24 Premier League Season:
Arsenal vs Crystal Palace preview
Sunday, January 21 – 11:30pm AEDT – Emirates Stadium
Arsenal, currently on a three-match losing streak in all competitions, has quickly dropped out of contention for the Premier League title. At risk of dropping out of the top four, Arsenal needs to return to form quickly and has a great chance against the struggling Crystal Palace. Arsenal has beaten Palace in their last three matchups, and Palace has also struggled to score this season. Playing at the Emirates, Arsenal should be favoured to cover the line of -1 with the leading soccer bookmakers.
Arsenal -1
Brentford vs Nottingham Forest preview
Sunday, January 21 – 4:30am AEDT – Gtech Community Stadium
Brentford is hoping to end their five-match losing streak against fellow relegation contender Nottingham Forest with the help of star striker Ivan Toney’s return. Fresh off wins against Newcastle and Manchester United in their past two matches, Forest will be full of confidence coming into this one. But coming off a short break due to their cup tie and playing away from home, this should be a challenging match for the visitors.
Brentford Win
Sheffield United vs West Ham preview
Monday, January 22 – 1:00am AEDT – Bramall Lane
West Ham, undefeated in their past four Premier League matches, has a chance to solidify their spot in the top six with a win over last-placed Sheffield United. Despite playing away from home, West Ham should have far too much quality here for the side they have beaten on their last three occasions.
West Ham United win
Bournemouth vs Liverpool preview
Monday, January 22 – 3:30am AEDT – Vitality Stadium
Sitting just two points above Manchester City, Liverpool knows that they need to keep winning to hold onto the top spot. Missing key players including Mohammed Salah and Trent Alexander-Arnold, the Reds will need to be wary of Bournemouth this weekend. Without Mohammed Salah up front, Portuguese forward Diogo Jota will be the main target up front after earning a goal and an assist in just 31 minutes of action since returning from injury.
Dioga Jota To Score A Goal
Brighton & Hove Albion vs Wolverhampton Wanderers preview
Monday, January 22 – 6:45am AEDT – American Express Stadium
After starting off the season in terrible form, the Wolves have completely turned their form around, winning their last three matches. Now clear of the relegation fight, they face the tough challenge of facing Brighton away. Just three points outside the top three, Brighton is incredibly strong at home, suffering just one defeat all season. With the Wolves missing top scorer Hwang Hee-Chan due to international duty, it is tough to see them pulling off an upset here.
Brighton win
