NRL Round 7 odds and early market analysis
Round 7 will of the 2019 NRL season promises to be a beauty if the bookmakers odds are any indication. We take a look at the NRL odds and betting markets prior to the round beginning on Thursday night.

On ANZAC Day night, the first-placed Melbourne Storm are $1.25 to make their record 6-1 in 2019 when they play 10th-placed New Zealand ($3.20) in Melbourne. The Storm were narrow losers last round and they have drifted in Premiership betting slightly after this results, however don’t lose faith in the Storm in this one.
Earlier in the day, the second-placed Roosters (paying $1.30) take on the fifth placed Dragons ($3.20), in what looms as an intriguing clash. Remarkably the Dragons are this long despite their strong start to the season.
Canterbury Bulldogs are the $1.72 favourite in their clash against North Queensland ($2.13) at home, with both teams desperately needing a win to stay in touch with the top eight.
The second clash on Friday night will see the Panthers take on the South Sydney Rabbitohs from Sydney. The Panthers are $2.20 outsiders for the clash, while Rabbitohs fans can get $1.67 to win.
On Saturday, Wests Tigers will are priced at $1.67 to defeat the Gold Coast Titans ($2.20) from ??
The second game on Saturday will see the Broncos ($1.70) attempt to win their second game of the season against Cronulla ($2.15).
The Manly Sea Eagles will begin narrow $1.85 favourite in their clash against Canberra on Sunday, with the Raiders also seeing some love, paying $1.95.
Round 7 of the NRL season will close on Sunday evening when the Newcastle Knights ($1.80) clash with the Parramatta Eels ($2).
NRL Premiership Odds – After round 6
The Sydney Roosters are outright NRL Premiership favourite, being priced at $3.40 with leading online betting site Sportsbet.com.au. Prior to round 6 of the NRL, the Roosters and Storm were equal $2.50 premiership chances, however the Roosters 21-20 win over the Storm saw a flurry of money for the NSW team.
The Storm ($5), Rabbitohs ($6.50) and the Canberra Raiders ($12) round out the five top premiership chances. Here are the full odds for the 2019 NRL Premiership market:
