NFL Week 3 Preview - BS

The NFL continues this Sunday with plenty of action across the 13-game slate. Here are our best bets for the day:

Denver Broncos vs Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Sitting 2-0 through the first two weeks of the season, the Bucs (-6.5) enter as clear favourites against the winless Broncos at home. Denver have struggled to stop the run this season so far, which suggests that Tampa Bay running back Bucky Irving will play a substantial role. Despite having far less carries than experienced teammate Rachaad White, the rookie has almost twice as many rushing yards and with the prospect of a blowout, expect Irving to be a threat around the endzone.

Houston Texans vs Minnesota Vikings

With backup QB Sam Darnold under centre this season, the Vikings have had a great start, unbeaten through two weeks. However, this week they face the dangerous Texans, who have been equally as critical as CJ Stroud has guided them to a 2-0 start. Both sides are stacked with offensive weapons and under the dome in Minnesota, expect this to be a high-scoring affair.

LA Chargers vs Pittsburgh Steelers

After struggling with injury over the past three seasons, Chargers running back J.K Dobbins has had a stellar start to the season as he leads the league in rushing yards. Additionally, he has scored a touchdown each week, as the gameplan under new coach Jim Harbaugh is heavily run-focused. Despite being undefeated, the Steelers have only scored one touchdown this season, which suggests that if the Chargers get ahead early, Dobbins is in for another big day.

Carolina Panthers vs Las Vegas Raiders

While it has been a mixed start to the season for the Raiders, a clear positive has been the form of rookie tight end Brock Bowers. The Georgia product has 156 receiving yards and a team-high 15 receptions. Facing the struggling Panthers, expect Bowers to continue his good form, reeling in over 5.5 catches at +175 with top NFL bookmakers

Detroit Lions vs Arizona Cardinals

With Lions star receiver Amon-Ra St Brown under an injury cloud this week, expect other receivers such as Jameson Williams to carry a heavier load this week. Williams has had an excellent start to the season with 200 receiving yards and is catching a lot more mid-range throws, after being solely a deep threat in the past. With the offensive firepower of the Cardinals, this match could quickly turn into a shootout, giving Williams plenty of targets.

Kansas City Chiefs vs Atlanta Falcons

With running back Isaiah Pacheco out through injury this week, expect Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs to favour the passing game in this matchup against the Falcons. Wide receiver Rashee Rice has been the number one target this season, collecting over 75 receiving yards in both games so far. At -111.11, back Rice to go over 75 yards once again with Neds Bookmaker.
