NBA Wednesday tips and bookie specials for the multi of the week

NBA betting for AustraliansGames on Wednesday, April 4, 2016, from 9am AEST.

THE clocks have been wound back for daylight savings and that means we get NBA games a little earlier in Australia.

Start your work day Wednesday with a bang with an NBA multi, kicking off with four games from 9am AEST.

All four early games feature eastern conference teams, with the pick being the rising Washington Wizards hosting the Charlotte Hornets.

Another sliding team, reigning champions Cleveland, have stitched up a playoff spot, but might find even the simplest clash against the lowly Orlando Magic a little tough, given their shocking record in March.

The Toronto Raptors head to Indiana for a date with Paul George and the Pacers and the Brooklyn Nets visit the Philadelphia 76ers in a clash of two bottom feeding teams on the rise.

At 10, Denver’s Nikola Jokic takes on New Orleans twin towers Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins as the Nuggets visit the Pelicans, it’s a clash of two of the league’s most productive players as Giannis Antetokounmpo’s Milwaukee Bucks face Russell Westbrook’s Oklahoma City Thunder and then the improving Chicago Bulls visit Madison Square Garden in what should be another win against the New York Knicks.

It’s the Memphis Grizzlies up against the San Antonio Spurs at 10.30am and then the Portland Trailblazers head to Utah to take on the Jazz at 11am.

A pair of lunch time games close out the day with the Minnesota Timberwolves heading to Oakland to take on the Golden State Warriors and then the terrible Dallas Mavericks are also in Cali to take on the equally bad Sacramento Kings.

It’s a huge schedule of games to whet your punting whistle on a Wednesday, after a boring Tuesday that features just the one game.

Let’s load up with a couple of awesome NBA multis that will hopefully swell your punting account with plenty of dough.

We’ve gone with a quintet of morals in the Wizards, Cavs, Bulls, Spurs and Warriors, along with a couple of legs to give the multi a little more juice in the Bucks and Pelicans.

Here’s hoping…

Washington Wizards to defeat the Charlotte Hornets

With their playoff hopes slipping away, the Charlotte Hornets have gone on a three game tear to bring them within a game and a half of the seventh seed behind the Bulls and Heat. The stellar play of Kemba Walker has been chiefly responsible. But they come up against a Wizards side that has its eye on second spot in the East. And superstar point guard John Wall has been on a monstrous tear that has thrust him into the MVP conversation. After four wins in a row, the Wizards have sputtered with losses to the Clippers and Jazz on the road, and a tough game against the Warriors, so return home should serve them well.

Cleveland Cavaliers to defeat the Orlando Magic

Cavs cooked? No team with LeBron James can be written off, but the signs are worrying for the title holders. A three game skid was halted with a blow out against the Philadelphia 76ers, but the Cavaliers have lost the top seed in the Eastern Conference and will be fighting Boston for it in the run home. They face the Pacers on their home court before the Magic visit. This is a case of “surely” with the Magic in full tank mode, losing five of their past six.

Chicago Bulls to defeat the New York Knicks

All of a sudden, the Bulls looks like a legitimate team again. The hold the playoff keys, now, with four wins in their last five thrusting them into the seventh seed and, with Jimmy Butler absolutely cooking and Rajon Rondo reanimating his corpse, things are looking good in the Windy City. The Knicks have shut down Derrick Rose with a torn meniscus and Carmelo Anthony doesn’t look far behind. This one should be an easy win for the Bulls.

Golden State Warriors to defeat the Minnesota Timberwolves

This one is the walk over we’re predicting, with the absolutely cooking Golden State Warriors a chance to welcome back scoring machine Kevin Durant against the already eliminated Minnesota Timberwolves. Dubs by lots.
