NBA Saturday betting predictions
76ers vs Spurs: The current longest losing streak in the NBA goes to the San Antonio Spurs, who have not won a game out of their last seven matches. Ben Simmons and the 76ers will see this as an opportunity to stamp their authority, which will be critical since their poor outing against the Knicks. Joel Embiid has a brilliant matchup against LaMarcus Aldridge, where his size and shape will be the difference.
Mavericks vs Cavaliers: There hasn’t been a better player in the league than Luka Doncic in the past week. The Mavs star has posted three triple-doubles in his last four games while averaging a ridiculous 34 points. The Cavaliers started the season better than expected, but a drop off from Tristian Thompson and an injury to Kevin Love have seen the Cavs lose eight of their last 10 games. The home court advantage will see the Mavs tear apart the Cavaliers.
Nuggets vs Celtics: You can’t miss this clash between Boston and Denver, two playoffs contenders who are expected to advance far this season. The Nuggets excel at bringing each other into the game and boasts solid passers in all positions, bench included. The Celtics lost to the Clippers in a tough clash that went down to the wire in overtime. Denver has won its last three matches, which includes a win over Houston, which is why the Nugs are the better choice in this match.
Clippers vs Rockets: Former teammates Russell Westbrook and Paul George will face off at the Staples Center when the Clippers host the Rockets. One aspect of Houston that could be improved is bench production, where the team lacks a powerful sixth man. LA is known for its bench, led by Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell. These Western Conference juggernauts will be hard to beat in the post-season, but this match will go to the Clippers.
