Multi tips and bookmaker cash-back offers for A-League week 11
THE A-League continues to keep the fans guessing.
Last round we saw the Jets upset the Glory away from home, the Phoenix smash the Mariners in New Zealand and the Victory hammer the Wanderers in Sydney.
Some of the results turned the competition on its head, but week 11 promises to be even more intense.
There is the Melbourne Derby to look forward to as well as a pivotal match between the Glory and the Sky Blues.
It promises to be a season defining round for the majority of the league.

Wellington Phoenix vs. Western Sydney Wanderers
Saturday, December 17 from 5.40 pm AEDST Mt Smart Stadium, Auckland, New Zealand
A tussle across the Tasman kicks off the multi this weekend as the Phoenix host the Wanderers on Saturday afternoon.
Wellington’s decision to remove coach Ernie Merrick as head coach paid instant dividends last week after they crushed the Mariners 3-0 at home. Wastefulness in front of goal prevented the margin from being even wider in the home side’s favour.
Western Sydney were thoroughly outclassed by the Victory last weekend and in particular Besart Berisha. The former Golden Boot winner scored a hattrick to sink the former champions of Asia.
Despite two contrasting results last weekend we are expecting a fired up Western Sydney to account for the Phoenix. They have too much class across the park and too many attacking options for the ‘nix to nullify.
Western Sydney Wanderers to win – $2.40
Melbourne City vs. Melbourne Victory
Saturday, December 17 from 7.50 pm AEDST, AAMI Park, Melbourne
The Melbourne derby is the second leg of our A-League multi.
Both teams are undefeated over the last month which makes for a fascinating contest.
Melbourne Victory hammered the Wanderers last week 3-0 to record their third win in four weeks. Striker Besart Berisha was dynamic in the win scoring a hattrick.
City blew a massive opportunity to inflict Sydney FC’s first loss of the season after leading 1-0 while holding a one man advantage. The visitors conceded a penalty late in the game that cost them two precious points.
It looms as the match of the round but we backing the Victory here. Their performance last week was sensational and anywhere close to a repeat performance sees them breezing past City.
Melbourne Victory to win – $2.75
Perth Glory vs. Sydney FC
Saturday, December 17 from 10 pm AEDST, NIB Stadium, Perth
League leading Sydney FC travels to Perth to face the Glory in the third leg of our multi.
The Sky Blues were lucky to escape last week with a point after falling behind by a goal and having a man sent off in the second half. The home side responded well to level the scores late in the match but their performance was troublesome for coach Graham Arnold.
Perth was nothing short of abysmal last week. The Glory lost to one of the easy beats of the competition in the form of Newcastle at home 2-1 to extend their winless streak to three games.
Sydney FC are the far superior side at this point of the season and should have no problems beating a Glory team who needs to get their act together quickly in season 2016/17.
Sydney FC to win – $2
Central Coast Mariners vs. Brisbane Roar
Sunday, December 18 from 5 pm AEDST, Central Coast Stadium, Gosford
The Brisbane Roar travels south in the final leg of our A-League multi in search of a seventh straight win over the Mariners on Sunday afternoon.
The Roar were in fine touch last weekend. The men in orange dismantled Adelaide United 4-0 to break a four game stretch of draws.
The Mariners were ordinary last week against the Phoenix. Central Coast never looked in the contest and were thoroughly outclassed by a team who had been playing so poorly their coach had just been sacked.
This is one of the easiest games of the round to pick. Brisbane should take care of the Mariners to round our multi out in style.
Brisbane Roar to win – $1.67
