English Premier League betting preview & top bets | 27/12 – 19/12
After a packed English Premier League slate on Boxing Day, there will be three more games over the following two days. Teams like Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City will play in these games and they should be a part of some fun matches. The Premier League is officially back and we have some picks to make it that much better.
Chelsea vs Bournemouth preview
At this point in the season, Chelsea cannot be trusted. While it’s been a while since they last played in the Premier League, they limped into the extended international break and had lost three straight league games. Chelsea simply lack a reliable goalscorer and while they have a strong defense, they need to find attackers if they want to mount a serious title challenge. Bournemouth are a bad team but this game should be closer than the books think. Take Bournemouth to lose by less than two as Chelsea haven’t proven they have the ability to blow teams out.
Bournemouth +1.5
Manchester United vs Nottingham Forest preview
Well, Cristiano Ronaldo has officially left Manchester United and it’s time to usher in a new era of United soccer. While the Red Devils’ season has been up and down, Rashford has been their best attacker and he should take on a bigger role moving forward. Across 20 games, Rashford has nine goals and he also played well in the World Cup for England. Against Nottingham Forest, United should create a lot of chances and that means Rashford should have plenty of goal-scoring opportunities. At +155, this is a great bet on an ascending talent to continue his stellar season and end up on the goal sheet.

United vs Manchester City
We expect Man City to dominate Leeds United in this spot. City came into the international break looking like the team to beat in the Premier League and while they sit in second place, they are still the favorites to win the league with the top betting sites. And now, a lot of City players have fresh legs. Guys like Erling Haaland and Riyad Mahrez didn’t even qualify for the World Cup and they have had an extended break. Also, Kevin De Bruyne and Joao Cancelo’s respective nations didn’t go that deep in the World Cup and they have had nearly a month since their last game. We think they will all be motivated to lead City to another title. In this game, Leeds have a struggling defense filled with cracks that City will exploit. Take City to dominate in this game and watch the best team in the Prem continue to rack up three points every time they step onto the pitch.
