David Hayes slated for Hong Kong return
David Hayes is expected to confirm he will return to the Hong Kong training ranks.
The senior trainer for the Lindsay Park operation which includes his son Ben and nephew Tom Dabernig, Hayes spent a decade in Hong Kong from 1996, winning two premierships.
The Hong Kong Jockey Club has called a media conference for Tuesday morning at Sha Tin Racecourse for a licensing announcement.
Multiple championship winner, ex-pat Australian John Moore, will be forced to retire at the end of this season.
The 69-year-old has already had his tenure extended with trainers previously made to retire at 65.
