Bulldogs vs Dragons NRL betting tips
Unfortunately for these two great Sydney clubs, their coaches are locked in a battle for survival and neither look close to getting out of the bottom quarter of the NRL Premiership ladder.
The St George Illawarra Dragons lacked fire and energy against a committed Warriors outfit last week, while the Canterbury Bulldogs were totally outmatched against Manly but never stopped trying.
By that tale of the tape, you’d have to believe Canterbury will do enough to get their first win of the season through nothing more than being tougher.
Both teams are still locked together at $1.90 for the win, but you can expect the Dogs to shorten over the weekend.
The $3.10 on offer for the Bulldogs 1-12 seems too good to pass up, especially when you consider they only won by 13+ twice in 2019 and one of those games was round 25 when their fate was already decided.

Canterbury get the huge inclusion of Kieran Foran – far and away their best option in the halves – for his 200th NRL game.
St George Illawarra in the past 18 months have become famous for chopping and changing the creative positions in their team at the drop of a hat.
The Dragons used 16 different combinations of fullback, five-eighth, halfback and hooker in 2019, and they would often change these positions within games.
Heading into their fourth game in 2020, they are already onto a fourth different spine and it’s an enormous red flag when placing your money on them.
In their past 13 games they’ve only been able to beat the Titans, so $1.90 seems far too short for a team on the verge of sacking their coach and making wholesale changes by the week.
For the same price, you can get a line of 37.5 for total points and you’d have to be thinking unders is almost a certainty for teams who lack points.
