Australia will look to continue their ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 winning streak on Wednesday night as they take on a struggling Netherlands side.

The Netherlands suffered their third loss in four ODI World Cup games on Saturday as they fell in a close finish to Sri Lanka by five wickets. After starting the match at 6-91, a 130-run seventh-wicket partnership salvaged the Dutch innings as they were eventually bowled out for 262.

With the ball, opener Aryan Dutt bowled well to take 3-44 from his 10 overs, but the Netherlands were unable to take enough wickets as Sri Lanka chased down the total with 10 balls to spare.

With just one win so far this tournament, the Netherlands are now unlikely to progress to the knockout stages. However, they are still a chance every game for a shock upset, as they showed when beating South Africa last week.
