A-League Round 10 betting odds, multi tips and predictions
Can anybody catch runaway leaders Sydney FC? Let’s look at the matchups and multi-bet options for this week’s A-League action, with odds from Bet365.com.au.
Brisbane Roar vs Western United
6:30pm AEST Friday, December 13 at Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane
The inconsistency of the Brisbane Roar ($2.45) caught up with them last week as they copped a 5-1 mauling at the hands of Sydney FC. Eight games in, Robbie Fowler’s men are yet to string together back-to-back results of any kind. If the pattern continues, the Roar should secure points at home against a Western United side ($2.70) that humped the Melbourne Victory 3-1 last time out.
Melbourne Victory vs Wellington Phoenix
5pm AEDT Saturday, December 14 at AAMI Park, Melbourne
With only two wins from nine games, the Melbourne Victory ($2.05) are 13 points off the leaders and second-last on the ladder. The saving grace for Marco Kurz and his charges is that the Victory held the same record at this stage of the 2017/18 A-League season and went on to win the title. Meanwhile, the Wellington Phoenix ($3.40) can jump into the top four if they win in Melbourne and Western United lose in Brisbane.

Sydney FC vs Central Coast Mariners
7:30pm AEDT Saturday, December 14 at Jubilee Stadium, Sydney
Five wins in a row have seen Sydney FC ($1.33) storm out to a five-point lead at the top of the A-League table. Adam Le Fondre grabbed a hat-trick last week as the Sky Blues put five goals past the Roar. Now the defending champions will look to put the sword to the last-placed Central Coast Mariners ($8.50), who have lost four of their seven games this season.
Perth Glory vs Western Sydney Wanderers
6:45pm AWST Saturday, December 14 at HBF Park, Perth
Last week saw the Perth Glory ($1.66) snap a four-game winless run in style with a 3-0 result over Melbourne City. The Western Sydney Wanderers ($4.75) will hope to do something similar in WA after sliding to sixth on the ladder with four consecutive defeats. The bad news for Markus Babbel and company is that the Wanderers have not beaten Perth in any of their last five meetings.
Newcastle Jets vs Melbourne City
6:30pm AEDT Sunday, December 15 at McDonald Jones Stadium, Newcastle
The Newcastle Jets ($2.70) fell to eighth place with their 2-1 defeat to Adelaide United, but that came on the back of good wins over Western United and Western Sydney Wanderers. Melbourne City ($2.40) are reeling from two losses in three games and need to smarten up at the back, as they have conceded nine goals in three games and haven’t kept a clean sheet since the first round.
A-League Round 10 multi odds
- Brisbane Roar to win – $2.45
- Sydney FC half-time/Sydney FC full-time – $1.90
- Jets vs City over 2.5 goals/both to score – $1.90
Brisbane have made a habit of bouncing back from poor results, so they are a good chance to win at home on Friday. Sydney FC should have no issues with the Mariners, while City’s leaky defence ensures goals at either end in their clash with the Jets.
