Brisbane Lions: Won over Port Adelaide, 49-97
North Melbourne Kangaroos: Lost to Essendon, 86-81
Two of the most watchable teams in the AFL will face off at the Gabba this Saturday night.
The North Melbourne Kangaroos head up the coast to challenge the red-hot Brisbane Lions, who have won four matches on the trot.
If not for a miraculous goal from Essendon’s Anthony McDonald-Tipungwuti last weekend, the Roos would have won five of their past six matches to go within a game of the top eight.
Up until Brisbane beat them earlier this year, North had won four consecutive encounters with the Lions.

The Roos have become a very capable football team since the sacking of Brad Scott, and it will be interesting to see if they can impose their tough brand up at the Gabba.
Brisbane boss Chris Fagan is waiting on the fitness of two crucial Lions, Hugh McCluggage (hamstring) and Eric Hipwood (knee), who both need to pass tests.
For the visitors, champion midfielder Shaun Higgins is a chance to return after missing over five weeks of footy due to an injured AC joint.
Can Rhyce Shaw produce another miracle with his new and improved North Melbourne lineup, or will the Lions be too good on their home deck?
Brisbane vs North Melbourne Round 18 player disposals betting
Dayne Zorko to get 25 disposals @ $1.67 with Sportsbet
Zorko is one of the most damaging midfielders in the competition. He was quiet when the Lions beat the Roos in Melbourne earlier this season, but the Brisbane skipper had 35 touches and two goals when they clashed at the Gabba late last year. Look for another big one from Zorko on Saturday night.

Jared Polec to get 25 disposals @ $2.20
Before he was traded from Port Adelaide to the Roos, Polec once played for the Brisbane Lions. The South Australian midfielder knows the Gabba well and has never had less than 20 disposals against his first AFL club. Expect him to own the wing in this contest.
Lions vs Kangaroos Round 18 goalscorer odds
Charlie Cameron to kick three goals – Best odds at Ladbrokes
Earlier in the season when the Lions and Roos faced off, it was Cameron who kicked four majors. Not only has the former Adelaide forward already produced a big haul against North, he also happens to be coming off another four-goal match. Combine the form and previous result and you have a likely outcome.
Ben Brown to kick three goals
Brown has kicked nine goals in his last two matches, including a bag of six last week against the Bombers. If the Roos can work around Harris Andrews and hit their kicks inside 50, the big Tasmanian forward could have another day out. He once kicked seven against the Lions, which still stands as his biggest bag.

Brisbane Lions lead at every quarter @ $2.10
The Lions have come on in leaps and bounds this year and deserve to sit third on the AFL ladder. The Roos will find it difficult to stop the combination of Lachie Neale and Dayne Zorko in the middle, which will lead to their demise.
