Winx opens $1.10 for G1 Chipping Norton

Champion mare Winx has opened the $1.10 favourite for the Chipping Norton Stakes in which she will be chasing her 15th consecutive victory and 10th Group One win.

Saturday’s Chipping Norton (1600m) at Randwick has attracted 13 nominations including six of Winx’s Chris Waller-trained stablemates.

Winx made an emphatic return to racing in the Group Two Apollo Stakes earlier this month, defeating Hartnell by 2-3/4 lengths and the Godolphin galloper is the only other horse nominated for the Chipping Norton under double figures at $8.
