Winx draws barrier three in Cox Plate
Champion mare Winx will start from barrier three of 10 in her attempt to win the Cox Plate at Moonee Valley for a second time.
Hartnell, the second favourite, will jump from gate seven with French horse Vadamos drawing two for Saturday’s weight-for-age championship.
Three-year-old filly Yankee Rose has the inside draw while veteran Happy Trails, running in his fifth Cox Plate, has the outside alley.
