Shavkat Rakhmonov (18-0-0) holds the unique distinction of finishing all 18 of his professional fights inside the distance. The 30-year-old most recently dispatched Stephen Thompson, Geoff Neal, and Neil Magny via submission. While the Uzbek star is also a feared knockout artist, he appears more likely to pursue a finish on the mat against another dangerous striker.
Ian Machado Garry (15-0-0) has fought eight times in the UFC and holds a perfect winning record, including recent decision victories over Michael Page, Neal, and Magny. The 27-year-old is predominantly a standup fighter with high-level kickboxing skills who has modelled his rise on the deeds of compatriot Conor McGregor. Although unwanted in the betting, Garry should give a good account if he can impose his game plan on this contest.

Ciryl Gane (12-2-0) comfortably beat this opponent in 2021, and top UFC betting sites have him as one of the biggest favourites on this main card. The Frenchman’s only recent losses were to Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou — two of the best heavyweights alive — and he appears to have improved his pressure game since. The 34-year-old will face a height and reach disadvantage but boasts excellent footwork and range management skills.
Alexander Volkov (38-10-0) has quietly worked toward contender status with four straight wins in the UFC’s most volatile division. Since March 2023, the towering Russian has taken out Sergei Pavlovich, Tai Tuivasa, and Alexander Romanov in clinical fashion, displaying patience and poise to outwork dangerous opponents. The 36-year-old still boasts a solid chin and has not been knocked out since 2018, some 12 fights ago.

Bryce Mitchell (16-3-0) has struggled somewhat since being dismantled by featherweight champion Ilia Topuria in December 2022. The 30-year-old bounced back with a decision win over Dan Ige but has since suffered another stoppage loss, being flattened by Josh Emmet in the first round. That said, this appears a favourable matchup for the American, who is the shortest-priced fighter on this main card with online bookies.
Kron Gracie (5-2-0) is a highly decorated BJJ practitioner attempting to adapt his skills to the MMA game. The Brazilian has fought three times in the UFC, snaring an early submission win on debut before losing two straight bouts via decision to Cub Swanson and Charles Jourdain. The 36-year-old can appear awkward on the feet and is expected to struggle against a more rounded opponent in Vegas.

Nate Landwehr (18-5-0) is a wild brawler who enjoys trading heavy blows with whoever is brave enough to stand opposite. The 36-year-old boasts an almost inhuman capacity to recover from damage, winning won four of his last five bouts despite taking heavy punishment. Landwehr is most effective when catching an opponent on the feet and then following them to the mat, where he can hunt for submissions and deliver ground-and-pound shots.
Choi Doo-ho (15-4-1) has struggled for form since losing an absolute war with Cub Swanson in 2016, recording one win, three losses, and a draw. The 33-year-old is coming off a tidy decision win over Bill Algeo last time out and might be returning to his promising early form. He appears a nice bet at underdog odds with Marantelli Bet to kick off the UFC 310 main card.
