The Wests Tigers will go one week closer to ending their miserable NRL 2024 campaign when they host the South Sydney Rabbitohs in Campbelltown this Saturday night.
The Tigers were disappointing again last Sunday, going down to the Knights by 16 points in Newcastle. Despite a competitive start to the match, Benji Marshall’s side faded after the half-hour mark and conceded four of the last five tries.
Red-hot favourites for the wooden spoon at $1.04 with leading NRL bookmakers, the Tigers have now lost their last seven in a row. They head into round 24 as $2.75 underdogs with PlayUp.
In a major blow for the Tigers, fullback Jahream Bula has been ruled for the rest of the season, with Heath Mason likely to be promoted from the reserves. Solomon Alaimalo and Reuben Porter will also miss, with Luke Laulilii and Sione Fainu replacing them.
