The Star backs Hayes in Everest
Lindsay Park will have a runner in The Everest with Sydney casino The Star allocating its slot in the $10 million sprint at Randwick to the stable which has yet to confirm its runner.
Senior trainer David Hayes said he had several horses in contention and had negotiated with The Star to make the decision on which horse would run closer to race day on October 14.
Leading the pack is Newmarket Handicap winner Redkirk Warrior with Goodwood winner Vega Magic and Blue Diamond Stakes winner Catchy among the leading contenders.
