Can the North Melbourne Kangaroos bounce back after a horrific 108-point loss last weekend, or will the Sydney Swans be too strong on their home deck at the SCG this Saturday?
This will be the first clash between these sides at the SCG since 2018, as the Roos have hosted the last four contests at either Marvel Stadium or Blundstone Arena.
The Sydney Swans will be keen to register a win this weekend after losing their round three matchup with the Bulldogs, as sloppy field kicking ultimately cost them the four premiership points.
David Noble’s Roos will want to forget their round three battle with the Lions as quickly as possible, and they will start by competing hard with the Swans in this contest.
Luke Davies-Uniacke will give North Melbourne Kangaroos a huge boost in the midfield, as the up-and-coming midfielder is free to play following his recent concussion.

John Longmire can bring a healthy Justin McInerney back into the starting 22 this weekend, as the dashing youngster is primed for a breakout season.
After just three matches in 2022, it is hard to judge where the Roos are at, but it is quite obvious the Swans are going to be one of the hardest teams to beat given their elite midfield.
The likes of Chad Warner, Dylan Stephens, Luke Parker and Errol Gulden can all impact efficiently through the middle, but we have our eyes on Gulden’s disposal-winning ability this weekend.
Gulden is already an excellent runner despite this being just his second AFL season, which allows him to cover the ground well and rack up easy disposals.
Key matchup: Jack Ziebell vs Isaac Heeney
The most important player on the ground this Saturday will be Isaac Heeney, as he has the capacity to destroy the Roos both in the middle and when he floats forward. Jack Ziebell is Heeney’s most likely opponent when he ventures inside 50, as his hard edge will keep the elite talent grounded.
Ziebell needs to hold off Heeney in the air and on the ground, but he also needs to make him accountable on defence. The Roos are very good at exiting the defensive half of the ground with Aaron Hall and Ziebell running off half back, so you can expect both of these players to have a big day out in the disposal tally.
Sydney vs North Melbourne betting tips
North Melbourne Kangaroos +42.5
Although all signs point to an easy win for the Swans this Saturday, we noticed the Roos have actually been consistently competitive with Sydney over the last four seasons. The Swans have won the last four contests against North Melbourne, but the biggest winning margin was just 14 points, whilst two other matches were decided by just one kick. We do not think it will be another nail-biter, but we trust the Roos can hold on to a seven-goal handicap.
North Melbourne +42.5
Errol Gulden to get 20+ disposals
We love the way Errol Gulden has started his 2022 campaign, as the second-year midfielder is already putting up consistent results over the last three matches. Gulden has averaged 19 disposals per game thus far this season, hitting the 20-disposal mark in his last two contests. We think Gulden is turning into a very classy player for the Swans who should shine at home this Saturday.

Same game multi: 3 legs @ $7.65
The Roos will hold the line this weekend given their recent form against Sydney, while Errol Gulden will be hard to stop in the middle. Ziebell will be in the thick of the action within the Kangaroos’ backline, where he should get plenty of disposals.
North Melbourne +42.5 / Gulden 20+ disposals / Ziebell 25+ disposals
