Sydney Kings vs Melbourne United NBL Finals betting preview
It all comes down to this third semi-final match between the Sydney Kings and Melbourne United at Qudos Bank Arena.
The loser will bow out of season 2019-20 and the winner will advance to a NBL Grand Final showdown with either the Perth Wildcats or the Cairns Taipans, who will also wrap up their series on Thursday.
Melbourne has the upper hand due to its brilliant victory in game two, where the Victorian franchise overcame Sydney by a whopping 45 points.

The Kings were lost for words after their abysmal second quarter, where they were beaten 32-7 as their hosts all but secured the result before halftime.
This deciding match will be played at Qudos Bank Arena, where the Kings have only lost two matches for the entire season, but Melbourne will look to break that home court advantage.
A variety of contests on the court will decide who plays in the big one, including Andrew Bogut against Shawn Long at centre and the clash between guards with Casper Ware and Chris Goulding.
Sydney Kings vs Melbourne United Game 3 betting predictions
Jae’Sean Tate over 18.5 points
If you had to pick an MVP for this series you would consider Jae’Sean Tate, who has been nothing short of brilliant for the Kings. JT is a very good shooter from the floor and can punish you from any area, especially beyond the three-point arc. Tate is filled with momentum and will be hard to stop in his home arena.
Shawn Long over 20.5 points
With two double-doubles in the series thus far, Shawn Long is another strong contender for the series MVP award. Chris Goulding has been held down well by the Kings, but this has allowed Long and Melo Trimble to fire. The United centre will be in the thick of the action inside the paint, where he scored nine straight shots in the most recent match. Look out for Long from deep too, as his three-point range is nothing to laugh at.
Under 180.5 total match points
Allowing Melbourne United to score over 120 points would have disappointed Sydney tremendously, leading us to believe a change in mindset is going to occur. We see the Kings putting much more emphasis on their defence in this final match, as it was how they won their first clash. United are also a chance to hold the Kings around the 80-point mark again.
Sydney Kings to win
The Sydney Kings are our choice to close out this series due to their collective finals experience. Andrew Bogut, Brad Newley and Casper Ware will bring calmness and professionalism to the change rooms, while the youthful energy of Jae’Sean Tate and Didi Louzada will provide a big spark. Back in the Kings to enter the NBL Grand Final.
