Melbourne Storm vs New Zealand Warriors NRL preview
Melbourne Storm will enter their NRL Super Saturday clash against New Zealand Warriors favourites with online bookmakers.
The Storm are coming off a commanding win over the Panthers, who they kept scoreless, while the Warriors suffered an unlikely defeat to Cronulla in New Zealand.
The Storm are still without superstar five-eighth Cameron Munster who has suffered a groin injury, with coach Craig Bellamy naming an unchanged line-up from their opening round victory.
New Zealand Warriors head coach Andrew Webster has named second-rower Kurt Capewell (ribs) and hooker Wayde Egan (elbow) to start, despite suffering injuries in their loss to the Sharks. The rest of the Warriors’ side has remained unchanged.

Storm v Warriors tips 16/3/2024
The Storm have won more than 65% of their matches against the Warriors since 1998, while sharing two draws, and have won the last 14 matches in a row against the visitors.
The Warriors have lost each of their last three away matches by a margin of 13+ points, and they are in danger of making it four. While the 13+ is touch and go, We think the Storm should cover the -6.5 point line ($1.90).
Will Warbrick had an incredible start to his NRL career in 2023, playing 25 games and scoring 17 tries to go with numerous line breaks and tackle breaks. The former All Blacks Sevens Olympic medal winner has arguably become the strike winger for the Storm, scoring at least one try in each of his last four appearances with Melbourne as favourites. Expect his scoring streak to continue Saturday with another try scored at any time ($2.20 with AU bookies).
The Warriors will likely struggle to score against the Storm. But if they do, their most likely scorer is on the right wing with Dallin Watene-Zelezniak. The ‘flying perm’ has scored a try in eight of his last nine games away from New Zealand in a Warriors side that does an incredible job of stripping defences short of numbers to have him in open space in the corner. With it paying $2.20 for Watene-Zelezniak to score, it is the smartest bet to make surrounding the Kiwi side.
