Saints v Dockers best bet tips
Fremantle to win 1-39
Caleb Serong 35+ possessions
Riley Bonner 25+ possessions
Fremantle has a chance to jump back into the top eight when they clash with St Kilda in round 10 of the AFL season at Marvel Stadium on Saturday night.
The Saints are slight favourites for this clash at $1.79 with Unibet, while the Dockers offer more value at $2.06 with Boombet. The handicap is set at just 3.5 points with Australian bookmakers.
On Saturday, the Saints continued their poor start to the season as they went down to Hawthorn by five points in Launceston. In a low-scoring affair, the Saints never led despite having more disposals, clearances and inside 50s.
With just three wins so far this season, the Saints sit in 14th spot on the ladder. With just one score over 80 – against last-placed North Melbourne, which indicates there are major concerns with their attack.
There are no forced changes for the Saints this week, but after another poor performance, expect a few omissions as Paddy Dow and Hunter Clark push for their first games of the year after recovering from injury.
The Dockers also went down last Friday, as they fell by 48 points to the Sydney Swans at Optus Stadium. Despite controlling large portions of the match, inaccuracy plagued Justin Longmuir’s side as they kicked 4.15.
After starting the season 3-0, the Dockers have now fallen outside the top eight as they sit in ninth spot. Another side who is struggling offensively this season, the Dockers lack of experience in the forward line is holding them back from pushing the top sides in the AFL.
Expect ruckman Sean Darcy to return to the side after missing last week due to a calf problem, with veteran Michael Walters also expected back in the starting side after playing as a substitute against the Swans.

Fremantle v St Kilda betting tips
In a clash between two sides that pride themselves on defence while having well documented struggles in attack, this match is set to be an arm wrestle, shown by the total points line set at just 148.5, in what are expected dry conditions. However, the Dockers have been the better side all year and have been successful in both of their trips to Melbourne. With a star-studded midfield and the return of their two-ruck system, the Dockers look ripe to cause an upset, so back them to win by less than 39 points at $2.40 with Bet365.
Since moving across to the Saints in the off-season, defender Riley Bonner has been a critical part of the side, averaging 24.3 disposals per game. He had arguably his best game of the season against the Hawks with 30 touches and has only failed to reach 20 disposals once from nine matches. With the Saints uncontested game plan and his additional kick-ins, expect Bonner to continue his solid form with 25 or more disposals at around the $2.55 quote with AFL bookmakers.
The current AFL disposal leader, Fremantle midfielder Caleb Serong has been in everything for the Dockers this season. Averaging 36.3 disposals over the past three weeks, expect the 23-year-old to continue his excellent form, particularly with the return of Darcy to the side. Playing for the top handballing team in the AFL, Serong is often involved multiple times in the same play, so back him in for 35 or more disposals at $2.90 with Boombet Australia.
