She Knows eyes Scone after Highway win
Temperamental filly She Knows has earned a trip to the Scone carnival after a comprehensive victory at Hawkesbury.
Goulburn trainer Danny Williams has had his work cut out with the three-year-old, but she was on her best behaviour before claiming her second Highway Handicap (1100m).
“She’s been out of sorts a bit, she’s not her normal self. Since returning she’s been very irritated,” Williams said.
“Even saddling her up she’s wanting to kick and things like that. Hopefully it’s only a hormonal thing and she’ll settle down in time.”
She Knows was focused with Blake Shinn when they jumped and the $1.70 favourite was never troubled before hitting the line 2-1/2 lengths clear of Kendalman ($26).

Bite The Media ($51) was a half neck third.
Williams said She Knows would now target the Listed Denise’s Joy Stakes (1100m) at Scone on May 12.
“She’s a gross-doing filly so she always seem to need that hit out, going into Scone is our goal.
“She always backs up much better second-up. It’s good to get that run under her belt because she’s always vulnerable coming back from a bit of a break.”
She Knows won her first Highway Handicap at Randwick in October and now has three wins from eight starts.
