Serie A betting tips, top odds & predictions | Matchday 32
The 2023/24 Serie A season continues this weekend with a full slate of matches, headlined by the Turin Derby. Here are our free soccer betting tips for Matchday 32.
Lazio v Salernitana
Saturday, April 13 – 4:45am AEST – Stadio Olimpico
Despite losing their past two matches, Lazio still sit just four points outside the top six. Welcoming the last-placed Salernitana, they are expected to return to winning ways as strong favourites with online bookmakers. With the visitors holding the worst defensive record in the Serie A, and with four of the past five matches between the sides going over 2.5 goals, look for added value in a high-scoring match.
Lazio / Over 2.5 goals
Lecce v Empoli
Saturday, April 13 – 11pm AEST – Stadio Ettore Giardiniero
After a run of four straight defeats, Empoli secured a vital win over Torino last weekend to pull themselves out of the relegation zone. On the road, they are underdogs against fellow relegation contenders Lecce, who have just one win from their past eight games. In a clash between two of the lowest-scoring sides in the Serie A, backing the under is the safe bet.
Under 2.5 goals
Torino v Juventus
Sunday, April 14 – 2am AEST – Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino
Beating Fiorentina last weekend, Juventus halted their slide down the table after four games without a win. With their top-four spot under threat, they now face a Turin Derby — a fixture where they are unbeaten in the past 19 stagings. While the ninth-placed Torino enter as slight underdogs, Juventus’ mixed form leaves them vulnerable away from home.
Torino to win
Bologna v Monza
Sunday, April 14 – 4:45am AEST – Stadio Renato Dall’Ara
Holding a three-point edge on the chasing pack, the pressure is rising on the fourth-placed Bologna to keep their stellar season going. Hosting the 11th-placed Monza, who have lost their past two matches, Bologna are heavy favourites with Serie A bookmakers. They have also kept a clean sheet in each of their past four matches, so it makes sense to back their defence to hold strong once again.
Bologna to win to nil
Napoli v Frosinone
Sunday, April 14 – 8:30pm AEST – Stadio Diego Armando Maradona
Just two points outside the top six, Napoli still have plenty to aim for despite their disappointing season. Welcoming the 18th-placed Frosinone, Serie A betting sites have last year’s champions as strong favourites. However, as Napoli have little value on their own, it is worth noting they haven’t kept a clean sheet in 12 matches.
Napoli / Both teams to score
Sassuolo v AC Milan
Sunday, April 14 – 11pm AEST – MAPEI Stadium
On a run of five straight Serie A victories, AC Milan have now created a six-point gap to Juventus in third. While they won’t challenge for the Scudetto, they are expected to deal with a Sassuolo outfit that has just one win from its past 12 matches. With five goals in his past six games, keep an eye out for American winger Christian Pulisic to hit the scoreboard.
Christian Pulisic anytime goalscorer
Udinese v Roma
Monday, April 15 – 2am AEST – Bluenergy Stadium
Sitting just three points outside the top four, Roma have hit form with a seven-match unbeaten run in the Serie A. They now face a tricky clash against an Udinese side that is much better than its table position suggests. Udinese have the most draws in the competition, and with the visitors sharing the points in their past two away matches, this should be closer than expected.
Draw
Inter Milan v Cagliari
Monday, April 15 – 4:45am AEST – Stadio Giuseppe Meazza
After surviving a scare against Udinese last weekend, Inter Milan have held onto their 14-point lead at the top of the table. Welcoming the 13th-placed Cagliari, the champions elect are unsurprisingly the strongest favourites of the weekend. With five goals in the past three matches between the sides, Serie A leading scorer Lautaro Martinez is the man to watch for Inter going forward.
Lautaro Martinez anytime goalscorer
Fiorentina v Genoa
Tuesday, April 16 – 2:30am AEST – Stadio Artemio Franchi
Unbeaten in their past three matches, Genoa have found form lately to clear themselves from the relegation fight. They now travel to Tuscany as underdogs against an out-of-form Fiorentina, who are unbeaten in the past six clashes between the sides. With two mid-table teams, anything can happen, but given Fiorentina will have to rotate their squad due to midweek European competition, the visitors offer good value for the upset.
Genoa to win
Atalanta v Hellas Verona
Tuesday, April 16 – 4:45am AEST – Gewiss Stadium
With just one win from their past six matches, Atalanta are dangerously close to dropping outside the top six. They now welcome the 17th-placed Hellas Verona, who are locked in a relegation fight. While the home side should be too strong, the visitors have scored in each of their past five games, so there is value in backing both teams to score.
Atalanta / Both teams to score
