Sea Eagles vs Bulldogs NRL betting preview
This appears to be a straightforward task for the Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles, but Canterbury will keep the game close for as long as they can.
Manly have their first-choice forward pack back on the park and restart the 2020 NRL Premiership season off a gritty win over the Roosters in round two.
The Sea Eagles appear to have the Bulldogs covered all across the park, but Will Hopoate matching up against Brad Parker may be one area Canterbury fancy themselves. Hopoate possesses fantastic catch-and-pass skills, which will cause a few defensive issues on Manly’s left edge.

Jorge Taufua will be racing in for the big hits he is famous for, but it may leave the Sea Eagles vulnerable if he misses. Whether the Dogs can finish any of these off will determine how close they get by the final siren.
Canterbury lost arguably their best forward when they sacked Corey Harawira-Naera earlier this year and Joe Stimson is also lost for the season with a knee injury.
Their bench is a bit of a wildcard with Ofahiki Ogden and Renouf To’omaga giving some punch to their middle, while Raymond Faitala-Mariner can produce late offloads to generate second-phase play.
Best bet for Sea Eagles vs Bulldogs
You can be sure Dean Pay’s men will put up a fight, but the class of Daly Cherry-Evans, Tom and Jake Trbojevic, Addin Fonua-Blake and Martin Taupau looks too much for the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs. The result/tryscorer combos at Ladbrokes offer some decent value here.
Manly Sea Eagles to win/Tom Trbojevic to score a try
