In their final games of the Big Bash League season, the Scorchers and Strikers face off at Perth Stadium for a chance to make the finals.

With just three wins each so far this tournament, both sides are outsiders to make the finals, but the equation is clear, win this clash and hope that the Stars, Heat and Renegades all lose.

It has been a disappointing season so far for the Scorchers, who are currently on a run of four straight defeats. On Monday night, it was arguably their worst performance yet as they lost to the Thunder by 61 runs. Despite chasing just 158 to win, the Scorchers collapsed for 97 in 17.2 overs, their lowest score of the season.

However, they couldn’t stop the runs in the second innings, as they fell with one ball to spare.

Despite a hard-hitting top order, the Strikers have struggled this season, largely due to their weak bowling attack. They have just one win on the road this tournament but with their season on the line, expect a strong performance.
