Rosehill the target for All Too Huiying

The countdown is on to find the best way to secure a start in the Magic Millions Two-Year-Old Classic at the Gold Coast.

The winner of the Magic Millions Wyong Two-Year-Old Classic on Thursday will be guaranteed a run in the $2 million 1200m-scamper on January 14.

Trainer Gary Moore has All Too Huiying entered for Thursday’s race but has decided to keep the colt for the Two-Year-Old Plate at Rosehill on Saturday.

“I thought the Wyong race, not that mine is not a good two-year-old, looked fairly strong on paper,” Moore said.

“So he’ll have a gallop on Wednesday and then run at Rosehill.

“If he wins on Saturday he’ll be aimed at the Magic Millions race at the Gold Coast.”

Moore said All Too Huiying had taken much improvement from his debut fourth behind Chauffeur at Rosehill on December 10 when ridden by Blake Shinn.

All Too Huiying drew widest in the five-horse field and was sent forward to lead while Moore believes the two-year-old is better placed when ridden conservatively.

“He’s a lot better horse ridden off the speed, not like the other day,” Moore said.

“We drew the outside gate and we spoke about it, Shinn and I, and we had no alternative but to ride him forward.

“He was gallant in defeat. He looked like he was going to win until the last 30 metres but his condition just gave out.

“Looking at his trial previously at Warwick Farm he came from off the speed and that’s how he’ll be ridden on Saturday.”

Moore heads to Rosehill confident All Too Huiying is positioned to run well on Saturday.

“He’s impressed me greatly over the past few days and looks in great shape,” Moore said.

Others dually nominated at Wyong and Rosehill are Cape Wickham, Falconic, Glossy Ganoderma, Legal Girl, Madame Moustache, Oenophile, Radiant Choice, Single Bullet and Undaunted.

All Too Huiying is rated a $26 chance for the Magic Millions race in which the Lindsay Park-trained youngster Madeenaty is the $7 favourite ahead of Chauffeur, Invincible Star and Ours To Keep at $9.
