Ricciardo’s performance at the Red Bull Ring was positively impacted by the incident involving race leaders Max Verstappen and Lando Norris, which forced Norris to retire and Verstappen to receive a 10-second penalty.
This turn of events allowed Ricciardo to move up from 10th to ninth place in the laps, effectively doubling his points tally.
Following this race, Ricciardo has accumulated a total of 11 points, while his teammate Yuki Tsunoda, who finished in 14th place, maintains a tally of 19 points.
After three solid performances, the top Formula 1 bookmakers have Ricciardo priced at $3 to secure another points finish in the Great Britain GP.
