Rhea Ripley reclaims her WWE Women’s World Championship

Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan concluded their nearly year-long feud in an explosive Women’s World Championship match on WWE Raw, marking the debut of the show on Netflix.

The clash ended with Ripley reclaiming the Women’s World Championship in dramatic fashion, setting the stage for a new chapter in her career.

The feud, which began when Morgan attacked Ripley last April, was rife with twists and turns.

Ripley’s shoulder injury forced her to vacate the championship, and Morgan capitalised on the opportunity by claiming the title and eventually joining the Judgement Day faction.

Despite her dominance, Ripley returned with a vengeance at SummerSlam, only to be betrayed by her then-partner, Dominik Mysterio.

This betrayal set the tone for their eventual showdown at WWE Bad Blood, where Mysterio was suspended in a cage above the ring, adding another layer of drama to their rivalry.

Monday night’s Raw delivered a fitting finale.

Morgan pushed Ripley to the limit, coming close to victory with a stunning frog splash, but Ripley narrowly kicked out.

With the momentum swinging in her favour, Ripley countered Morgan’s final move, the ObLIVion, and delivered back-to-back Riptides to secure the pinfall and her second Women’s World Championship.

After the match, Dominik Mysterio entered the ring, seemingly to reconcile.

Ripley, however, had no intention of making amends.

She feigned acceptance, only to deliver a low blow followed by another Riptide, symbolically severing her ties with the Judgement Day.

As Ripley celebrated her hard-fought victory, the arena was electrified by the sudden appearance of The Undertaker in his “American Badass” persona.

Riding his motorcycle to the ring, he paused to congratulate Ripley, signalling her ascent as a dominant force in WWE.

While Ripley’s first title reign saw her squashing much of the division, fans are hopeful her second run will feature fresh rivalries and meaningful storylines.

With new faces emerging in the women’s division and potential splits within factions, Ripley has a chance to redefine her legacy.
