Raiders v Titans match preview
Round six of the 2024 NRL Premiership wraps up on Sunday afternoon in Canberra with the Raiders hosting the Gold Coast Titans at GIO Stadium.
The Titans have had a horrendous start under new coach Des Hasler with humiliating losses to the Dragons, Bulldogs, Dolphins, and Cowboys. Meanwhile, the Raiders have been one of the form sides in the competition with wins over the Knights, Tigers, and Eels, as well as tough losses to the Warriors and Sharks.
The Titans have made one change to his starting 17, with Isaac Liu added to the bench instead of Joe Stimson. Harley Smith-Shields and Jojo Fifita have been named to start on the wings, although Alofiana Khan-Pereira could be a late call-up from the reserves.
Canberra Raiders coach Ricky Stuart has been forced to make two changes with Corey Horsburgh (groin) and Jordan Rapana (knee) out injured. Chevy Stewart has been named to make his NRL debut at fullback, with Trey Mooney named on the interchange for his first NRL game of the season.

Raiders v Titans betting predictions
The Titans have lost their last seven matches outside of Queensland, while they’ve lost their each of last four matches by 13 or more points. The Raiders, meanwhile, have covered the line in eight of their last nine matches. Canberra will be expected to win well in front of their home crowd and cover the 9.5-point line at $1.90 with online bookmakers.
Raiders wing combination of Xavier Savage and James Schiller has been brilliant over the last fortnight, scoring five tries from nine line breaks and 10 tackle breaks. The biggest asset the Raiders have in attack is their ability to play equally well on both sides of the field to put their wingers in the corner for tries. Expect Savage ($1.91) and Schiller ($1.83) both to score a try as the Raiders put away the Titans.
