NRL Round 11 preview: Raiders vs Bulldogs
The rested Canberra Raiders will host the Canterbury Bulldogs at Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium this Friday night to kick off Magic Round for the 2024 NRL Premiership.
Fresh off the bye, following the re-signing of coach Ricky Stuart, the Raiders took on the Dogs in this round last year and scored in the opening minute en route to a four-point victory. The ‘Green Machine’ will be keen to continue their recent success of three wins from five matches, which was capped off in round nine by a 20-point comeback to beat the Sea Eagles in Brookvale.
The Canterbury Bulldogs enter this match having also won three of their last five matches, with a vastly improved squad and record compared to this time last season. They were also a converted try away from beating the Panthers in Penrith last weekend and will be eager to build on their good form.
Coach Stuart welcomes back Jordan Rapana from a knee injury to start at fullback in place of Albert Hopoate. The Canberra Raiders are otherwise unchanged.
