Provincial Championships heat postponed

The Provincial Championships heat set down for Gosford will be added to the Golden Slipper meeting at Rosehill.

Racing NSW considered transferring Wednesday’s $150,000 race to Newcastle on Friday or Wyong on Sunday.

But to ensure the full field that was declared for the 1200m-race remains intact it will be run at Rosehill.

Rain is predicted to continue in NSW for the rest of the week with Rosehill rated a heavy 9 on Wednesday after 183mm since last weekend.
