Premier League MW25 predictions, best bets & top odds
With the English Premier League season gearing into the final stretch, it looks like a two-team race for the title as we enter Matchweek 25. Manchester City have spent most of the season in first place and have a nine-point lead on Liverpool, who do have a game in hand. Other than those two teams, and potentially Chelsea, there aren’t any real title contenders.
Still, with five teams in the running for the fourth Champions League spot, there is plenty to play for and it should be a dramatic run to the finish line. This Saturday has a lot of teams playing in the midst of a congested fixture list, so let’s try to comb through it all and find some potential winners.
Manchester United vs Southampton
Manchester United simply cannot be trusted. In a season where they had title aspirations with the return of prodigal son Cristiano Ronaldo, they have fallen flat and currently sit in fifth place with a disappointing 39 points through 23 games. There have been a couple moments this season where it looked like United were going to turn the corner and use their momentum to launch them up the table, but it just hasn’t happened. After a penalty loss to second-division Middlesbrough in the FA Cup, it’s safe to say the Red Devils in the middle of yet another lull.
Southampton, on the other hand, did not have title aspirations but still stumbled out of the gate. They have stabilized and have been playing mediocre football of late. Guys like Armando Broja and James Ward-Prowse will be threats against a weak Manchester United defense. United are currently dealing with a lot of drama and the chance for a draw in this game at +355 with Marantelli Bet is just too good to pass up.

Watford vs Brighton & Hove Albion
Brighton surprised more than a few out of the gates but have recently hit a bit of rough patch. After a start that had fans whispering of a potential Europa League qualification, they have stumbled down the table. Now, they have stabilized at ninth place with 30 points in 22 matches. Remarkably, they only have four losses, which is the least for any team outside of the top three.
Watford, however, have 15 losses, which is the most in the EPL. In a season where Watford were optimistic, they shouldn’t be too surprised with their struggles. They sit firmly in a relegation battle with 15 points from 22 games, good enough for 19th place. Despite a coaching change, they cannot seem to string together good results and do not have a win from their last five. They are all out of sorts right now and just about every other Premier League team should expect to win against the Hornets. To get a respectable Brighton team at plus money in the soccer betting markets against this Watford outfit is an absolute gift and we expect a relatively simple win from Brighton. While they aren’t lighting the world on fire, Brighton have been winning the games they should win, so expect nothing different this coming Saturday.
Brighton to win
