NRL R8 team lists: Galvin back in, Walsh out with injury

NRL team lists are in for Round 8 of the 2025 season, with several key ins and outs across a huge weekend of footy.

The Brisbane Broncos have been dealt a major blow with star fullback Reece Walsh ruled out due to a PCL injury sustained in last week’s clash against the Warriors.

The Sydney Roosters welcome back Angus Crichton and Billy Smith for their showdown with a largely unchanged Dragons outfit.

The New Zealand Warriors receive a timely boost with fullback Charnze Nicoll-Klokstad returning from concussion following their miracle win over the Broncos last round.

The Melbourne Storm lose Jack Howarth to a dislocated shoulder but regain key playmaker Nick Meaney, who slots straight back into the lineup.

A major inclusion for Manly sees Tom Trbojevic return at fullback after missing the last three games with a knee injury. However, the Sea Eagles will be without Jake Trbojevic, who has entered concussion protocols.

Meanwhile, the Wests Tigers have recalled Lachlan Galvin to the NRL squad after a game in the NSW Cup, following recent headlines surrounding his desicion not to extend his contract with the club.
