NRL R21 teams: Munster named in reserves for Eels v Storm clash

There are some notable ins and outs for round 21 of the 2024 NRL Premiership.

The Parramatta Eels have lost star halfback Mitchell Moses (biceps) and young forward Charlie Guymer (ankle) for their clash with the Melbourne Storm on Friday night.

Meanwhile, the visitors have listed Cameron Munster among the reserves as he works back from a groin injury that has kept him sidelined since round 11.

Also on Friday, the Wests Tigers will regain skipper Api Koroisau for their clash with the New Zealand Warriors in Auckland.

The Tigers will have to make do without suspended halfback Aidan Sezer, however, while the Warriors have had to shuffle things around with Taine Tuaupiki (concussion) and Adam Pompey (knee) out injured.

The Brisbane Broncos have Selwyn Cobbo back in the centres for their date with the Canterbury Bulldogs on Saturday, while Brendan Piakura is listed in the reserves due to a groin complaint.

With first-choice fullback William Kennedy suspended, the Cronulla Sharks will hand an NRL debut to Liam Ison when they take on the North Queensland Cowboys in Townsville.

The Manly Sea Eagles have moved a few pieces around to cover the loss of Lehi Hopoate (eye socket), with Ben Trbojevic at centre and Tommy Talau on the wing for their clash with the unchanged Sydney Roosters.

The St George Illawarra Dragons have State of Origin stars Zac Lomax and Ben Hunt back on deck for Sunday’s tussle with the Penrith Panthers, who are still missing star fullback Dylan Edwards (knee) but regain Jarome Luai, Liam Martin, Brian To’o and Isaah Yeo.

The final two matches of the round feature only one change between them, with the Rabbitohs bringing in Jacob Host to replace Richie Kennar (concussion) for their clash with the Raiders in Canberra.
