NRL Super Saturday kicks off in Penrith with the Panthers hosting the Newcastle Knights at BlueBet Stadium. The last time these two sides met was a heart-breaking one point loss in the final seconds off the game for Newcastle, but can they bounce back in enemy territory?
The Newcastle Knights have recalled Greg Marzhew to the wing after being dropped for disciplinary reasons, Daniel Saifiti has been named to return from a sternum injury and Tyson Frizell has been named to back up from New South Wales Origin duties to replace the injured Lachlan Fitzgibbon (concussion).

The battle of these two fullbacks will be the highlight of the evening for multiple reasons. Ponga & Edwards are two of the best fullbacks in the NRL with Ponga’s elite ball playing and footwork his greatest asset, while Edwards is a metre-eater who always positions himself in the right place at the right time. Ponga is the man who holds the keys for Newcastle to potentially upset the Panthers in Penrith.
