NFL Week 13 preview, betting tips & best odds
As we approach the pointy end of the 2023 NFL regular season, Week 13 will be crucial for every team on the playoff bubble. While it’s a lighter slate due to bye weeks, this should still be a great week of action. Read on to see our free NFL betting tips for Monday, December 4 (AEDT).
Miami Dolphins @ Washington Commanders
5am AEDT – FedEx Field
De’Von Achane, the rookie running back for the Dolphins, had an electrifying start to the season but has been injured for the past six weeks. In the three games where he’s had more than one carry, Achane has accrued seven touchdowns. Miami are nearly 10-point favourites in this game, and if they live up to that line, the Dolphins will likely run the ball a lot. Achane should get a good chunk of those carries, which makes him good value to score at +112 with NFL bookmakers.
De’Von Achane anytime touchdown
Indianapolis Colts @ Tennessee Titans
5am AEDT – Nissan Stadium
Both of these teams have been inconsistent for much of the season, yet Indianapolis have quietly worked themselves into the playoff hunt with three consecutive wins. Although no one is confusing the Colts for Super Bowl contenders, they are still a solid squad and should beat a bad Titans team. Tennessee have won two of their past six games, and one of those wins was against the worst team in the league. Indy should outclass them and move to a respectable 7-5 record.
Indianapolis Colts -1
Arizona Cardinals @ Pittsburgh Steelers
5am AEDT – Acrisure Stadium
Steelers running back Najee Harris is starting to heat up after a poor start to the season. The third-year player has scored four touchdowns in six games and now comes up against one of the worst defences in the league. Also, the Steelers fired their offensive coordinator prior to last weekend and proceeded to put up over 400 yards for the first time in over 50 games. Harris should get the ball a lot around the goal line in this game, so the +120 odds for him to score look like great value.
Najee Harris anytime touchdown
Los Angeles Chargers @ New England Patriots
5am AEDT – Gillette Stadium
The Patriots are one of the worst teams in the league, but the Chargers shouldn’t be favoured by 5.5 points against anyone. While Los Angeles have a potent offence, they have one of the league’s worst defences and basically every offence can move the ball on them. Of course, New England’s offence is not very good, but this is way too many points to give a Chargers opponent. Take the Pats at home in what should be a closer game than the top NFL sportsbooks predict.
New England Patriots +5.5
San Francisco 49ers @ Philadelphia Eagles
8:25am AEDT – Lincoln Financial Field
This game could go either way, but one thing that is certain is that these teams can score. While the Niners have a great defence, this game projects to be a shootout due to Philadelphia’s awful pass defence — and that means 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk should be in line for a big game. The ascending receiver has has five touchdowns in 10 games this season, and considering the state of this Eagles defence, we like his chances to have big impact on this game.
Brandon Aiyuk anytime touchdown
Kansas City Chiefs @ Green Bay Packers
12:20pm AEDT – Lambeau Field
The Chiefs have been dying to find an offensive weapon to complement Travis Kelce, and it looks like they may have found one. Rookie Rashee Rice had a big game last week against the Raiders, garnering 107 yards and a touchdown. While it has taken Rice a lot of time to earn Patrick Mahomes’ trust, it seems like he could have a big role in this offence going forward. Rice has already scored five touchdowns this season and we like his odds to get his sixth this weekend.
Rashee Rice anytime touchdown
